The Missionary Society of the African Methodist Episcopal Church (AMEC) is an international faith-based, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), granted Special Consultative Category II Status in 1985 in partnership with the United Nations Economic and Social Council. Springdale’s local branch of the society is a very active organization serving the needs of the community. Blanket collections, food drives, toys for tot campaigns, meals for the needy throughout the year, school supply distributions, and visits to the sick and shut in. If there is an opportunity to minister, our missionary society is there. They are truly a living example of God’s love for all.
